At STR UK, we’re committed to providing fast and dependable service across the United Kingdom. Whether you’re ordering IP, 2-wire, or audio door entry systems, we work closely with STR Elektronik (Germany) to ensure your products arrive safely and on schedule.

Shipping Methods and Costs

We offer the following delivery options:

  • Standard Tracked Delivery (UK) – £8.50 per order
  • Free Delivery on all orders over £120 (ex VAT)

All orders are securely packed and shipped using trusted, fully tracked couriers. This charge covers the complete process—from careful picking and packing to prompt despatch and delivery handling.

Despatch Timeframes

Delivery times depend on product availability:

  • Products in UK stock: 3–5 working days
  • Products in STR Elektronik (Germany) stock: 5–10 working days
  • Custom builds: approximately 3 weeks (often sooner)

You’ll receive tracking details once your order has been despatched.

Shipping to Northern Ireland

We continue to offer reliable delivery to Northern Ireland under the Windsor Framework. For consumer (end-user) orders, there are no customs declarations and no additional charges. Your order will be shipped through the UK Government’s Parcel Labelling Scheme via a trusted courier.

We automatically provide the required parcel information (item description, weight, and value) to ensure delivery works just like anywhere else in the UK.

If you are a business customer in Northern Ireland with specific requirements, or if you’re registered under the UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS), please contact us before placing your order.

30-Day Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Most products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided they meet the return conditions below.

Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted unless the product is faulty and still within its warranty period.

How to Request a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email sales@str-uk.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order.
  2. Provide: Your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  3. Return the Item: If approved, return the product in its original packaging, unused and in resellable condition.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.
  • A copy of the invoice or proof of purchase must be included.
  • Returns must be arranged and sent back within 14 days of approval.
  • Non-returnable items: Custom-made products, used or installed items, and clearance or sale items.

Restocking Fee

If an item is returned through no fault of our own—for example, if the customer ordered the wrong item or changed their mind—a restocking fee of up to 15 % may apply. This helps cover handling, inspection, and repackaging costs and will be confirmed during the returns approval process.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
